Static Management - Competition Rules and Regulations
All Contestants will confirm their acceptance of these Rules and Regulations by signing below.
Eligibility:
Each Contestant must:
• Be female and aged 16 or over at time of entry or 12 up to 18 for Miss Teen.
• Hold a valid British passport.
• Complete the information required on the entry form fully and accurately.
Contestants must not:
• Have any criminal conviction (save for road traffic offences not involving imprisonment)
• Have been in any way involved in any illegal or immoral activities [including but not limited to prostitution or use of drugs]
• Participation will require Contestants to wear bikinis and evening dress.
Behaviour:
All Contestants are required to conduct themselves in a responsible and sportsmanlike manner; and any failure by the Contestant or any Supporter to maintain a standard of behaviour and decorum acceptable to the Organisers may lead to disqualification of the Contestant and ejection of the Contestant and her Supporters from the venue at which the heat or Final is being held.
All Contestants are required to be present and on time throughout such rehearsals, training sessions, photographic opportunities etc as the Organisers may require.
Supporters (including hairdressers or make-up artists) may be permitted to accompany Contestants backstage only with the permission of the Organisers and subject to such rules as may be agreed between the Organisers and the operators of the venue at which the heat or final is taking place.
Rights and Promotional Arrangements
All Contestants acknowledge that all rights in any Static Production pageants are vested in the Organiser.
All national title holders shall make themselves available and provide their services (including but not limited to personal appearances and imagery), at the request of the Organiser, for the Final and all other engagements or roles arranged by or supported by the Organiser or their agent(s) free of charge.
All prizes awarded to Winners or runners up may be substituted and replaced by the Organiser at any time prior to the result being known and all prizes once awarded are strictly non-exchangeable.
Contestants agree to be photographed and/or filmed (in any media) during the heats and the Final, and with any Sponsors, venue operators and the Organiser and all rights to any photographs, videos, films or other media of the Contestants shall vest in the Organiser and each Contestant grants the Organiser full authority and licence to use all such material without requiring any further consents.
All contestants agree to provide interviews with the press or other media when requested to do so by the Organiser and undertake not to make any criticism or disparaging comments about the Organiser or the venues for the heats or Final or any Sponsors.
The Winner will not accept or undertake any fully nude or topless assignments, paid or not, during her reign
Any personal appearances or work generated through the use of a national title must be directed via Static Productions and any paid work is subject to a percentage to be agreed at the time of booking.
You agree that Static Productions can use photographs, film and video footage and voice recordings that you send us (including those that form part of your entry package) or that we may make/take of you without restriction throughout the world. Static Productions may use these photographs in its own media products and in other media products.
General
The Organiser may amend any of these Regulations at any time.
Dates of the heats and/or the Final may be changed by the Organiser at any time.
The Organiser will not be responsible for any injury to any Contestant or Supporter or loss or damage to any of their property that might occur during the Contest whether at any heat or the Final.
All matters relating to the Contest shall be determined by the Judges appointed by the Organiser in relation to heat and the Final.
The Judges’ decision as announced shall be final and neither the Judges nor the Organiser will enter into any correspondence with any Contestant or any Supporter in relation to the Contest.
Static Productions will have the right to remove any title from the winner if in the sole opinion of the organisation, the winner brings the name of the organisation in to disrepute. Any breach of these rules will be regarded as bringing the name of the organisation in to disrepute.
For the purposes of these Rules:
“Static Management” and “Static Productions” are the same entity
“Contestant” means each person accepted by the Organiser as eligible to participate in the Contest, who signs an entry form.
“Contest” means any pageant running under Static Productions.
“Supporter” means any member of the family of a Contestant or other person accompanying or supporting a Contestant at any heat or Final.
“Heat” means any of the events arranged by the Organiser.
“Final” means the final of any of our pageants.
“Organiser” means Static Productions or any of its subsidiary or associated companies.
“Winner” means the Contestant placed first in the Final.
By using our website or by entering the competition, I have read and understood the rules and regulations and agree to abide by them.
